Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Ledgro collects, how it is used and the choices you have. Ledgro is a product of VJ Hokhmah Pvt. Ltd. ("we", "us"). By using Ledgro you agree to this policy.

1. Your shop data stays on your phone

Everything you enter in the Ledgro app — customers, credit entries, payments, bills, products, expenses and shop settings — is stored only on your own device, inside your browser's storage. It is encrypted with AES-256 using a key created from your 6-digit PIN. We do not receive, store or have access to this data, and we cannot read it, recover it or reset your PIN.

2. Backups

If you choose to back up, Ledgro creates an encrypted backup file. You can save it to your own Google Drive (Ledgro asks Google only for permission to manage the files Ledgro itself creates) or share it to your own email or WhatsApp. The backup stays encrypted with your PIN. We never receive a copy.

3. Information we do collect

• Subscription information: a random shop ID created by the app, your chosen plan and its status (active, trial, expired, cancelled). This lets us know whether your plan is active.
• Payment information: payments are processed by Razorpay. Your mobile number is shared with Razorpay to create the subscription. Card, UPI and bank details are handled by Razorpay under its own privacy policy; we never see them.
• Contact with us: if you message or call us, we keep your name, number and the conversation to help you.
• Website visits: our hosting provider (Vercel) may keep standard technical logs such as IP address, browser type and pages visited, for security and reliability.

4. How we use information

To provide and bill your subscription, activate your plan, give support, prevent fraud, and meet legal and tax obligations. We do not sell your information and we do not use your shop data for advertising.

5. WhatsApp messages you send

When you send a reminder or bill from Ledgro, the app opens WhatsApp on your phone with the message ready. The message is sent by you through WhatsApp, under WhatsApp's own terms. Ledgro does not send it through our servers.

6. Sharing

We share limited information only with service providers who help run Ledgro (Razorpay for payments, Vercel for hosting, Upstash for storing plan status), when required by law, or to protect our rights and users' safety.

7. Data retention and your rights

Shop data on your phone is under your control: you can export it, back it up or erase it from the app at any time. Subscription records are kept as long as needed for billing, tax and legal purposes. Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 you may ask us to access, correct or erase the personal data we hold about you, or raise a grievance, using the contact below.

8. Security

We use encryption on the device, HTTPS for all connections, and keep the data we hold to a minimum. Keep your PIN private and keep a backup: if you forget your PIN and have no backup, your data cannot be recovered by anyone.

9. Children

Ledgro is a business tool for shop owners and is not meant for children under 18.

10. Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version. Significant changes will be shown in the app or on this website.
